Getting to Metropolis Mall

By Public Transport:

Bus:

Larnaca’s public bus service offers a convenient and economical way to reach Metropolis Mall. Buses from the city center run frequently throughout the day. You can catch buses from Finikoudes Promenade or other major stops in the city. The journey typically takes about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

 

Taxi:

Taxis are readily available throughout Larnaca and offer a direct route to Metropolis Mall. A taxi ride from the city center to the mall will take approximately 10 minutes.

 

By Car:

Driving Directions: If you are renting a car, Metropolis Mall is easily accessible via the A3 motorway. From the city center, head towards the A3, and follow the signs directing you towards Nicosia. Exit at the sign for the mall, which is clearly marked. The mall has ample free parking.

The New Municipal Market in Larnaca is a vibrant center of commerce and culture, built on the historic site of the original market that operated from 1928 to 1963. Opened in March 2023, this modern facility blends traditional market elements with contemporary conveniences, continuing the legacy of the 'agora'—the heart of local trade and social gathering.

Features:

  • Ground Level: Home to 20 shops offering a variety of local produce including fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, cured meats, local wines, and freshly baked goods. This level captures the essence of traditional Cypriot shopping experiences.

  • Saturday Open-Air Farmer’s Market: Each Saturday, the market expands outdoors into the yard, providing additional stalls with local farmers showcasing their fresh produce from 6 AM to 1:30 PM.

  • Mezzanine Level: This area is designed for relaxation and cultural engagement, featuring cafes and spaces for cultural events, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or participate in community activities.

  • Upper Level: Offers a terrace with a seating area, a roof garden, and a bar. It's an ideal place for enjoying views of the city, socializing, and experiencing the vibrant market atmosphere from above.
